The First to Deploy Zero-Man Entry Robotics in Nigeria
Ardrend Limited made history as the first company to successfully deploy robotics technology for zero-man entry tank cleaning operations in Nigeria. This landmark pilot project was executed for the Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) on Tank T-207 at the Forcados Oil Terminal.
Ardrend is also the pioneer company in Nigeria to successfully deploy robotic technology to clean and inspect a crude oil storage tank while it remained in-service, as successfully executed on Tank T-5006 of ExxonMobil. We set up very efficient robots for in-service ultrasonic inspection and cleaning of hydrocarbon storage tanks, pressure vessels, ship hulls, drilling mud tanks, pipelines, etc.
